Yodeling festival

For our last little hurrah in Switzerland we went to a yodeling festival in Luzern Switzerland. Luzern over the last two years has been a special place for us to go. We have been there many times. It was only fitting that we would spend our last day there. Our friends Matt and Erin joined us to see all the yodellers. It was great to spend one last time with them and their adorable children Danny & Rachel. What we pictured yodeling is not how it was at all. Think more barbershop quartet, but bigger. They all sing in harmony but the songs are more folk songs. They also have the huge horns which are really amazing to listen to. We truly will miss going to events such as this!!

I love reading your blog. You have such beautiful pictures. It makes me want to travel Eurpoe so badly.
I loved the post on the 30 things you did for your husband. My husband is turning thirty this year too and that would be so fun to do for him. You are too cute Janelle.

I think that I am with everyone else. I seceretly live thru you in traveling, even tho I know it would be a TON better in person to get the 3-D effect. So I am excited to see where you will travel to now... Payson, Muab, maybe even fish lake? I'm glad that you are home and closer to family. Can't wait to see you the next time we are out there.

Janelle, I love your blog. I remember your mom telling me about it at work. I've started one myself that you will have to check out. Right now I have it set up as private so send me your email address and I'll hook you up.
You'll be amazed at how much Hannah has grown since you held her in the NICU.

What a great note to leave on (no pun intended). You are quite the world traveler now. How fun to say that you've been to all these fantastic places. If I ever get the chance to go to Europe I'll be calling you to find out where to go.

I kinda feel like I'm at a dead end and need something creative! You and Rach need to talk and see if you wanna come to SD together because the end of this month would be awesome. Hi Janelle. You should know that just because you are no longer living an exciting life of travel in Europe, DOES NOT mean we don't want to know what's happening in your life. New post please. We are coming to Salt Lake in a couple weeks for UEA weekend. I'd love to see you, but I don't have your phone number. Call me girlie.

You guys have really lived a magical life over there. And you have a great travel log to prove it. I, like Jessie, will miss living vicariously through your travels.

But, I bet it's nice to be closer to home.

Love,
Mary
