Going on 3 Years!!

It's crazy to think we have now been married for 3 years. When I think back to our wedding day, it seems like it was yesterday. I didn't think it was possible, but I love Josh more each day. He has been the perfect husband. And has always gone out of his way to make me happy. We were married in Bountiful temple, which is Josh's favorite. Then had our reception at Thanksgiving point. The day couldn't have gone better. I love reminiscing with my hubby about this beautiful day. It makes me feel like a newly wed all over again. Well, I was recently tagged. So I decided to change it a bit. So here are some facts about us during our years together. Happy anniversary Babe. I love you!!

Husband...

• What is his name? Joshua Samuel Frampton
  
• How long have you been together? We've been married for 3 years, but have known eachother for 8. We were pretty much best friends for the first 4 years, then fell for eachother and started dating when I was living in Arizona. We flew back and forth every other week until I moved back up to Salt Lake.
  
• Who eats more? Josh eats more in a single meal time. But the total days worth of food consumption goes to me.
  
• Who said "I love you" first? Josh said it first. We were at the airport waiting for my flight back to AZ. Josh wanted to tell me he loved me, but was nervous about it. But funny thing was that I was thinking the same thing. I didn't want to be the first to say those powerful words. At that point I even prepared myself to say it if he didn't though.
  
• Who's taller? Josh. Which is great for me bacause I can always wear my tall shoes
  
• Who sings better? Although Josh has a great voice, we both think I have the the better of both voices because of all the lessons I had growing up.


• Who is smarter? Josh is smarter in my mind.
  
• Who does the laundry? Both. However, Josh knows how much I hate to go down in our 1918 basement. So he is cute to help me out whenever I'm scared to go down.(Mostly at night)
  
• Who does the dishes? I do. Anyone who knows Josh knows it's the one thing Josh despises most.
  
• Who pays the bills? Josh does. For those of you who don't know, they don't have checks here in Switzerland, which makes it difficult for me to pays bills. I'm just not that computer savvy.
  
• Who cooks dinner? I cook during the week. Then Josh usually whips up something from the grill on the weekends.
  
• Who is more stubborn? We both like things our way
  
• Who is the first to admit when they're wrong? Josh. I'm working on it though
  
• Who kissed who first? It was mutual
  
• Who proposed? Josh did. We had already planned to get married. So it wasn't much of a surprise to me. But it was definitely a special night. Josh took me up to a steak house in Scottsdale. Then we walked to this beautiful hotel that had tons of palm trees filled with lights. And there was a bridge that was connected to both ends of the hotel. In the middle bridge there we stood overlooking all of Scottsdale and an enormous fountain. And with that view and that moment Josh knelt down on one knee and proposed. I still get butterflies thinking about it.
  
• Who is more sensitive? I am. I think it just comes with being a girl though.
  
• Who has more siblings? Josh. He has 6 kids in his family, which I love.
  

Crusin' On My Cruiser

After years of wanting a beach cruiser, I finally bought one. And what's better than to ride it along the lake in Switzerland. I've had it for a couple months now, but haven't really been able to ride it all that much. Zurich didn't have much of a summer. It rained for 2 months straight. So even though we're into cold fall weather now. I have really enjoyed taking the cruiser out more these past few weeks. I don't have a bike helmet, so I have been riding on the sidewalk. (which is a big No No in Switzerland). By the time I get home from bike rides, I will have had at least one Swissy yelling at me (in German) to get back onto the road. I just flash a big grin their way. And usually get one in return. Britt and Rach, I wish you were here to go cruising with me! You did after all inspire me to get one in the first place.

Our Swiss Beach House

A lot of you have been requesting pictures of our apartment. We lucked out in finding this gem of a place. When my mom came to Zurich she kept calling it "our" beach house, which I thought was really cute of her. We always feel like we're on vacation. It's an old house that's been refurbished, and it's got an amazing view. A few of my favorite things about it are the old wood floors, the bright yellow fridge (probably because it's the only normal size fridge I've seen in Europe), and the tiny bathtub, which Josh seems to hate. lol! I didn't get a picture of the office. But it's just another room. When I think of our place, I think European all the way. It's full of character.

Nice, France

For those of you who don't know our vacation style. Josh is happiest when his trip is full of adventure and he comes home in pain because he has pretty much beat the crap out of himself(As he puts it). I on the other hand am at my happiest when I can sit on a beach somewhere and can bake in the sun the entire time. Well if you haven't noticed, we have quite a few blogs on Josh's adventures(Ski towns). But I realized last month that I was in major need of a beach that Josh has been promising me since we got here. So my cute husband took it upon himself to plan it for us. We rented a car for the weekend and drove down to Nice, France. It was the perfect time of year to do this trip because it's now considered off season. We were able to get some good sun, and didn't have to fight the crowds. Luckily, we only had to worry about the local nude women. I can't even imagine how many exposed people we would have seen a couple months ago. LOL!!

Geneva

A couple weeks ago there was a art show going on in Geneva, Switzerland. So we caught a train down there for the day. So basically, every year people from all over Switzerland are chosen to paint an area of which the organization chooses for them. There were literally hundreds of painters all over the city. At the end of the festival, the artwork gets judged. Then they auction off the pieces. It was quite the site to see. We also had the pleasure of being serenaded by accordions and violins with french music during our lunch. Geneva is known for Jet d'Eau (water fountain), propelling 500 litres of water per second to a height of 140 metres. It was huge from close up. And the wind happened to shift in our direction, which meant we got a little wet.

I decided to do another another blog, separate from Nice because of the importance it has to Josh. After we left Nice, France. We went to Monaco. And I have never seen Josh as giddy as he was there. He was like a kid in a candy store. It was so cute watching his face the whole time. I must say that seeing all the yachts was pretty impressive. Don't you worry Sweetie. Someday we'll get you one of your very own.
